Worthy Winners
A huge congratulations to our 2024 Pooley Sword winners, The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo Dancers.
The ceremonial broad sword, crafted by distinguished sword manufacturer Pooley Sword, holds special significance amongst our Tattoo cast. Each August, our cast vote to decide which group has contributed the most during the August Show run. This could be in the performance itself, or in extra-curricular activities outside of the Show.
This year, The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo Dancers were bestowed the honour. At the beginning of our final performance on Saturday 26 August, the winners were announced. Tattoo Chief Executive, Jason Barrett presented the Pooley Sword to Aileen Robertson, Tattoo Dance Director.
